Men's Hockey Asia Cup Highlights: The Indian men's hockey team put seven goals past China to register a thumping 7-0 win in the Super 4s of the 2025 Men's Hockey Asia Cup in Rajgir, Bihar on Sunday.

India extended their unbeaten run in the continental showpiece, as six different players found themselves on the scoresheet.

Shilanand Lakra was the star of the show with a goal and two assists, whereas the experienced Abhishek scored a brace.

Dilpreet Singh, Mandeep Singh, Rajkumar Pal, and Sukhjeet Singh also found the net for India as they booked their spot in the 2025 FIH Men's Hockey Asia Cup Final and kept the 2026 FIH Men's Hockey World Cup qualification hopes alive.

    The second quarter is underway after a short break and India with their usual antics in front of the goal. Krishan Bahadur Phatak goes off and in comes Suraj Karkera as the custodian.

    Phatak wasn't needed at all in the first 15 minutes and he'll get in some more rest.

    That was some hectic 15 minutes of play. India asserted their dominance from the start and have continued to pile on the pressure.

    Harmanpreet and co extremely eager to press forward and they have been quick on those attacks. China is struggling to match up to India's blistering pace for now.

    This is brilliant from India, who are in complete control of the proceedings. Craig Fulton has a grin on his face on the sidelines.

    China have not been allowed to settle in. India on constant attacks and the ball has rarely left China's defensive half.

    9' - Rajkumar Pal goes wide

    Some good dribbling skills on display on the left flank from Abhishek as he pierces through to the circle and puts the ball to Rajkumar Pal.

    Pal collects and hits a tomahawk, but it is wide of the near post. 

    India nearly had their third there and the crowd in Rajgir is going beserk.

    7' - India double their LEAD!

    Well, well, well...after struggling to score in the past few matches, India have started off in style tonight against China.

    Shilanand Lakra, once again the MVP for India, earning a penalty corner with some smart work.

    It is Harmanpreet Singh with the drag flick and it is blocked by the goalkeeper. There is a lot of chaos in front of the goal and Dilpreet Singh finds himself at the right spot at the right time.

    Dilpreet pounces on the rebound and taps the ball in. India have doubled their lead in no time!

    4' - SHILANAND SCORESSS!

    Just as I type the previous update, India have opened the flood gates. Harmanpreet Singh with a brilliant aerial pass.

    Jarmanpreet Singh collects it cleanly at the top of the circle on right and crosses it in to the centre. The ball finds the young Shilanand Lakra, who drives it into the net without a mistake.

    A good move from India via the right flank. They are surrounded there, so break the shackles with an aerial pass to the left.

    Harmanpreet receives it well and puts the ball to Abhishek inside the circle. A brilliant cross from the latter to Mandeep, who is a tad bit too late to pounce. The ball races away without a deflection.

    That was a good chance for India to open the scoring.
