35' - Another good save from China!
Dilpreet Singh has the ball inside the circle and he just goes for it. It is high and powerful; possibly the hardest hit shot of the match. The Chinese goalkeeper has to leap high, football-esque, to keep it out.

32' - SAVE, CHINA!
This is brilliant from Vivek Sagar Prasad. China is passing the ball among themselves and he comes out of nowhere.
Vivek steams in on full pace, steals the ball and passes it into the circle to Mandeep within the blink of an eye. Mandeep crosses it back, but the Chinese goalkeeper intercepts before a charging Vivek gets there.
Indications of what is to come? Will India continue to charge forward relentlessly?

FIRST HALF STATS
This pretty much sums up India's dominance. They have simply been better on all aspects.

HALF TIME!
It is half-time in Rajgir. It has been a rather lop sided contest so far with India dominating their neighbours with some vocal home support.
Shilanand Lakra, Dilpreet Singh, and Mandeep Singh all found the net for India as they opened up a 3-0 lead.
China will have their task cut out, if they are to even give India a scare here.

26' - Good defence from China
A long pass from India and the Chinese defence is caught by surprise. The pass opens up the defence completely and finds Sukhjeet, who puts the ball to Jarmanpreet.
Don't think even Jarmanpreet was expecting that and takes an extra second to control the ball before eventually crossing it to Abhishek in front of the goal.
But by the time Jarmanpreet crosses, the Chinese defence has recovered. Intercepted cleanly.

22' - Same old story
Much like the first quarter, it is still India all over in Rajgir. China has just been unable to go past the midfield. The Indian defenders seem to have locked them down completely.

18' - Goal No 3, INDIA!
India further extend their lead. Mandeep Singh with the goal this time.
It was yet another penalty corner for India and Harmanpreet Singh's drag flick is deflected away by the Chinese first rusher.
The ball, however, falls to Vivek Prasad Singh who drives the ball on the bump towards the net. It is blocked by the goalkeeper but Mandeep Singh successfully pounces on the rebound.
Mandeep has a wide smile on his face. He finally has a goal, after that early miss.

17' - Smart from Karkera
A shot taken from outside the circle by China. It is on target and Karkera smartly lets it by. The goal, of course, won't stand since the shot was taken from outside the shooting circle.
