Men's Hockey Asia Cup Final Highlights: The Indian men's hockey team were crowned the 2025 Men's Hockey Asia Cup champions in Rajgir on Sunday.
Up against the reigning champions South Korea, India registered a 4-1 win, thanks to a brace from Dilpreet Singh in the title clash.
India finished the tournament unbeaten as they also qualified for the 2026 FIH Men's World Cup with this win.

There's the third goal for India. Dilpreet Singh now has a brace in the 2025 Men's Hockey Asia Cup Final.
The South Korean defence is opened up right down the centre and Rajkumar Pal sets up Dilpreet, who just has to tap it in.

A good move from India and the ball finds Abhishek inside the circle. Abhishek's shot hits the foot of a defender and are handed a penalty corner.

41' - South Korea misses back-to-back PCs!
In the first penalty corner routine, the ball isn't trapped cleanly but South Korea still keep possession and earn another penalty corner.
On the second time of asking, Krishan Bahadur Phatak stands tall with a save for India.
The men in blue create a counter attack off that rebound from Phatak and run forward within the blink of an eye. The South Korean defenders do well to contain it but it wasn't before India penetrated the circle.
Brilliant hockey all-round from India there.

South Korea's aggression finally pays dividends as they earn their first penalty corner of the match.
A good cross from the right and Jarmanpreet's deflection raises high inside the circle, prompting the decision.

South Korea with a good circle penetration from the right flank. There is chaos inside the circle but the young Vivek Sagar Prasad is laser focused.
He keeps his eyes on the ball and timely pushes the ball out of the D. Good defending there by India.

A good cross by Sanjay from the right and Abhishek does well to trap it cleanly. He takes the shot as well but it is blocked by South Korean goalkeeper.
Dilpreet Singh pounces on the rebound and slots the ball into the net. The crowd erupts but the goal doesn't stand. The umpire had already blown the whistle for a back stick before Dilpreet took the shot.

He eventually loses control of the ball and Vivek Sagar Prasad then overpowers him physically to avert danger for India.

HALF TIME!
That bit of play also brings and an end to the first half. India, after dominating the early exchanges, seemed to have been subdued a bit in the second quarter.
But just when South Korea started sensing their opportunity, Harmanpreet Singh opened up the defence with a brilliant aerial ball, which eventually led to India's second goal.
The men in blue head into the break with a two-goal cushion but they surely can't afford to breathe easy against this Korean side.

Sanjay receives the ball on the right flank and he goes a bit wide before penetrating the circle himself. He has options to deliver the ball but decides to take a shot himself. It goes wide.
And as soon as that move is completed, Sanjay picks up a green card as well. India down to ten men once again.
