2025 PKL Auction: Devank Dalal goes to Bengal for 2.205 Cr, Pardeep Narwal goes unsold– Highlights

Mohammadreza Shadouli (Rs 2.23 crore) and Devank Dalal (Rs 2.205 crore) emerged as the most expensive players of the 2025 PKL auction.
A total of ten players, for the first time in history, crossed the Rs 1 crore mark. There were some massive moves made with Arjun Deshwal signed up by Tamil Thalaivas and Naveen Kumar Goyat heading to Haryana Steelers.
The experienced Pardeep Narwal, on the other hand, found no takers.
While a total of 83 players were retained by the 12 franchises across three different categories, more than 500 players were for grabs in the 2025 auction.

MASSIVE PAYDAY FOR DEVANK DALAL!
Devank Dalal, as expected, causes quite a stir in the auction room. Telugu Titans, Puneri Paltan are interested but they are no match to the Bengal Warriorz.
The Warriorz up their own bid a couple of times and ensure that the Patna Pirates don't have a FBM option. They snap up Devank for Rs 2.205 crore.
Devank is present in the venue and he is elated.

Arjun Deshwal moves to Tamil Thalaivas
Surprise, surprise. Jaipur Pink Panthers do not use FBM for their star raider and captain.
Arjun Deshwal sparks interest from Telugu Titans, Puneri Paltan, and Bengal Warriors. But Tamil Thalaivas swoop in at the end to recruit him for Rs 1.5 crore.

Ashu Malik goes to Dabang Delhi
No surprises there as Dabang Delhi use FBM to bring back Ashu Malik for Rs 1.90 crore.
There was interest from Telugu Titans, Puneri Paltan, and Bengal Warriors.
The Warriors even up their own bid of Rs 1.75 crore to Rs 1.90 crore, but it doesn't stop the Dabangs from using their FBM.

Yogesh snapped up for Rs 1.125 crore
The most expensive Indian player so far in the 2025 PKL. Yogesh is snapped up for Rs 1.125 crore by the Bengaluru Bulls after a tough fight from Patna Pirates.
The Dabang Delhi have an option for FBM but they decide against it.

Patna Pirates break bank for Deepak Singh
A long battle to acquire the services of Deepak Singh and Bengaluru Bulls eventually succeed to bring in him for Rs 86 lakh.
But Patna Pirates, after being no where in the picture, slyly raise their FBM card and match the bid to bring their player back!
