That's all we have from the Indian campaign at the 2025 BWF World Championships. India extend their medal winning spree, thanks to Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty.

The former world No 1 pair though would have liked much more. They had a stellar start to the match, leading 11-5 but lost the plot in the opening game.

They fought hard to force a decider but it didn't even matter in the end as Chen-Liu completely outplayed them.

The loss will surely sting, but Satwik-Chirag can return with their head held high from Paris.

Chen-Liu WINNN!

The Indians save two match points with Satwik's powerful smash and an error at the net by Liu.

However, the joy is short lived as Satwik's defensive push lands long.

Chen-Liu have booked their spot in the BWF World Championships Final. Satwik-Chirag have been knocked out, yet again in the semis this season.

They'll return with a bronze medal, the second of their career at the World Championships.

That run of three points is brought to a halt as the Indians push the shuttle wide. 8-18.

Three straight points now for Satwik-Chirag as they try to mount a comeback. 8-17.

Finally a point for Satwik-Chirag

Chirag's return hits the net and goes over, catching the Chinese by surprise. Breaks the run of points for Chen-Liu, but the Indians are still down 6-17.

A ten-point lead

A ten-point lead for Chen-Liu now as the latter once again lands a perfect backhand jump smash. Satwik-Chirag trail 5-15 and the disappointment is quite evident.

Chen-Liu continue to march on

The Indians continue to err under pressure. They can't seem to put the shuttle over the net to the other side tonight. Chen-Liu continue their merry ways, leaving half the court unmanned.
