Yashas Palaksha wins the silver medal with a new personal best of 49.22s

Yashas came from behind in a very exciting final to clinch the silver medal, leaving behind the two Japanese hurdlers.

This will be a confidence booster for Yashas, who missed out on the Asian Championships but returned to his first international tournament of the year to clock a new personal best and win the silver medal.

Rohit Yadav wins the gold medal with the best throw of 74.42m

It wasn't a good outing for Rohit as he could not breach the 75m mark.

However, it was enough for him to win the men's javelin throw gold medal in his first overseas tournament of the year.
