Sultan of Johor Cup Highlights: The Indian junior men's hockey team bounceback from 0-1 down to draw 3-3 against Pakistan in the 2025 Sultan of Johor Cup on Tuesday.
Araijeet Singh Hundal (43'), Sourabh Anand Kushwaha (47') and Manmeet Singh (53’) scored for India while Hannan Shahid (5') and Sufyan Khan (39', 55’) converted for Pakistan.
India is on the second spot behind Australia with 7 points each. Pakistan is third with 4 points.

What a rollercoaster of a match. After trailing 0-1 for most of the game, India showed their fighting spirit in the final quarter. Stormed back to take a 3-2 lead with just minutes to go. But Pakistan kept their composure and hit back quickly with an equaliser, ensuring the points were shared.
India are now on the second spot with 7 points, behind Australia (7 points) and Pakistan on third spot with 4 points. Both teams have 2 games remaining.
What a thrilling turn of events here in Johor Bahru!
India take the lead for the first time in the match, sparking celebrations. Just moments later, Pakistan hit back, earning a penalty corner and converting it clinically to make it 3-3! Sufyan Khan scores in 55th minute.
India earn their fifth penalty corner of the match, and their third in this final quarter. This time, they go for a different variation but it doesn’t come off as planned. Pakistan’s defence holds.
India have gone for a referral. They get another PC, but again fail to convert. But they return to score. India takes lead 3-2. Manmeet Singh scores in the 53rd minute.
Another chance for India to score, get another PC. But Pakistan holds it strong. Nine minutes still remaining.
