A nice steal from Diamond Harbour and they create a good move right down the centre. Northeast United goalkeeper Gurmeet steps down to nearly outside the penalty box and kicks the ball away.
It, however, remains in Diamond Harbour's position, who open up the left wing and send a brilliant cross in. The Northeast United defenders are still nowhere to be apart from one marker.
The ball is delivered well to Diamond Harbour's forward, who gets a good connection with his head and Gurmeet has to dive full length low to his left to stop the ball from going in.

A harsh tackle from by NorthEast United's Redeem Tlang on a Diamond Harbour player, who is down on the ground with pain. Unnecessary from Tlang and he picks up a deserved yellow card early on in the match.

A rather sedate start to the this much-anticipated final. No real chances created by either teams and it has largely been a crowded battle in the mid-field with quite a few turnovers.

4' - SAVE, MIRSHAD!
Northeast United with a long range shot. It flies to the goalkeeper on a bounce. Mirshad is unable to collect it cleanly but blocks it from going into the net with his shoulders.
The rebound falls to a Northeast United's forward, but thankfully for Diamond Harbour the header is not very potent. That's collected cleanly by Mirshad, who did well to recover himself.
