Halftime! India leads Bhutan 1-0

It’s been a lively and fruitful first half for India. Indian forwards created several chances and found success in the 23rd minute with Abhista Basnett finding the net.

Bhutan’s defense — especially their goalkeeper — has held firm and denying  the visitors success on numerous occassions.

Bhutan forwards did find some pace towards the fag end of the first half. But there were no breakthroughs.

The Young Tigresses have had the upper hand, but they'll need to sharpen their finishing in the second half.
