Tamilarasu with a massive personal best of 10.22s to win the men's 100m title. That was quick from the youngster at his home ground.
The more experienced Manikanta Hoblidhar has to settle for silver with a timing of 10.35s.
Ragul Kumar takes bronze at 10.40s.
Surprise, surprise!
Dhanalakshmi, who is returning from a doping ban, stuns the women's 100m field. She wins the gold medal with a personal best time of 11.36s.
Abhinaya (11.58s) and Sneha (11.61s) win silver and bronze respectively.
The World University Games medallist Seema absolutely demolishes the women's 5000m field. There were only three athletes in contention and Seema lapped the third-placed athlete.
She also nearly lapped the second placed athlete, but it wasn't to be.
Seema clocked 15:42.64s for the win!
Veteran Amoj Jacob wins the men's 400m semi-final 3 rather comfortably. He clocks 46.11s and is nearly 1s clear of the second placed Astik (47.08s).
As easy as it gets for Rajesh Ramesh. The experienced quarter-miler eases through to win the men's 400m semi-final 2 with a timing of 46.59s.
The timing could have been faster, but he slowed down while nearing the finish line.
Vishal TK continues his good run of form in men's 400m. He wins the first semi-final with a timing of 45.78s - the only athlete to dip below 46s in that race.
