A shocking heartbreak for the Indian men's 4*100m Relay Team

The Indian relay team of Pranav, Ragul Kumar, Amlan Borgohain, and Manikanta Hoblidhar failed to qualify for the final despite finishing second in their heat.

Because, after a long review, the referees decided that the Indian team would be disqualified from the event because of a foul baton exchange on the first trade of batons.

In the replays, it was shown that Ragul overran and took over the baton from Pranav outside the exchange zone, which was deemed to be a foul exchange in relay races.

The Indian team was in good form this season and was also a medal contender, especially after their promising run of national-record timing of 38.69s at the Fed Cup 2025.
